Athletic Training Degree
The athletic training program at Lakeland Community College prepares students for a rewarding career in sports medicine as a certified athletic trainer. The program focuses on consultation with, and under the supervision of physicians to prevent and treat sports injuries and associated conditions. Lakeland Community College was the first college in Ohio founded by a vote of the people in 1967. Located in Kirtland, Ohio, Lakeland has three locations as well as online courses—all striving to provide quality learning opportunities to meet the community’s social and economic needs.
