Lakeland Community College was the first college in Ohio founded by a vote of the people in 1967. Located in Kirtland, Ohio, Lakeland has three locations as well as online courses—all striving to provide quality learning opportunities to meet the community’s social and economic needs. Over 12,000 full-time and part-time students attend Lakeland annually, and the average student age is 27. Offering 1032 credit course, 55 degrees, and 95 certificates, Lakeland’s provides transfer modules that provide transferrable credits to colleges and universities all over the country.
