Lamar Community College is a two year community college that was established in 1937. The college is committed to providing its students with transfer programs that allow them to attend four-year institutes of higher learning. The school is located in southeastern Colorado. The college aims to serve the needs of Kiowa, Prowers, and Cheyenne Counties.
