Lewis and Clark Community College (L&C) offers students a vibrant environment dedicated to academic freedom, equality of opportunity and human dignity. Founded in 1970 with a first batch of 450 students, L&C currently serves a student body of over 26,000 members enrolling annually. The Godfrey, Illinois, campus offers more than 40 certificate and associate degree options with several transfer options for students seeking higher education. In addition, there are two other campus locations - in Alton and Edwardsville. L&C has experienced tremendous growth over the past two decades, with an unbroken string of 17 enrollment growth years.

L&C offers tuition starting at $7,812 per year, exclusive of other costs. The heritage campus is well-known and has buildings placed strategically close to each other to save students commuting time between classes. Class sizes are small, which allows personalized attention from highly qualified instructors. The college also offers several other learning opportunities such as online learning, adult basic education, high school partnerships, transfer programs, workforce training solutions and more.

Extracurricular activity opportunities abound with the several student clubs and organizations. Athletic events, cultural activities and music performances on and off campus round out the education experience of students enrolling at the college.
