Environmental Health Degree

The environmental health program at Little Big Horn College prepares students for careers as program managers in state and federal health agencies and non-profit agencies. The program focuses on application of environmental sciences, public health, the biomedical sciences, and environmental toxicology to the study of environmental factors affecting human health and related ecological issues. Little Big Horn College

As the name suggests, Little Big Horn College is located near little big horn River to the south of Montana in a very good environment for learning. Its core area of study is liberal arts, which is based on the cultural studies of the Crow Indian people.  The institution, LBHC, has a large Crow Indian Tribe membership in its student body.

The institution has adequate space for expansion and possesses state-of-the-art facilities necessary to foster student achievement. This expansion will allow students to graduate when they are really qualified in their areas of specialization. Among the courses being offered at LBHC include; Agriculture (especially Livestock Management), Crow Studies, Business Administration, Mathematics, Science, Information Systems and Early Childhood Education to mention a few.

The college has well-organized recreational activities that keep students fit, clubs for students to explore their talents and interests, and online learning systems for some of the courses offered. Good examples of such courses that can be taken online include Information Systems Studies, Programming and Computer Studies. There are no application charges and the college also gives some financial assistance to students who qualify.
