Paralegal Program

The paralegal degree program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College teaches students to perform legal research, as well as drafting, investigatory record-keeping, and other administrative functions related to the legal system. Students who graduate the program will perform these functions under the supervision of an attorney or in a court and will gain instruction from the program in legal research, drafting legal documents, appraising, pleading, courthouse procedures, and other legal specializations. Minnesota State Community and Technical College operates four campuses and serves near 10,000 students in credit courses per semester. MSCTC offers more than 120 career and liberal arts programs along with custom training programs through community partnerships. The fours campus locations are Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena. Additionally, MSCTC offers online courses and programs.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Students interested in attending MSCTC should apply online, submit high school and college transcripts, present immunization forms if they graduated high school before 1997, schedule assessment testing for placement, register for classes at the scheduled time, and pay all tuition fees.
