Nail Technician Program

The nail technician program at Mitchell Community College prepares students for a career in a beauty salon, spa, or heath resort. The program focuses on shaping fingernail and toenails and applying polish and cosmetics to nails. Founded in 1852, Mitchell Community College functions as a higher educational resource for the residents of Iredell County and nearby areas. It is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Piedmont North Carolina.

This college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Its Associate degree, Certificate and Diploma courses fall under the following areas of study: Arts and Sciences, Business Technologies, Constriction Technologies, Engineering Technologies, Health Sciences and Public Service Technologies.
