Nash Community College, located in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, was founded in 1967 and is a public two year comprehensive institution. The school is one of 58 that comprise the North Carolina Community College System, which is the third largest such system in the United States. Academics
As a comprehensive community college, NCC offers 99 programs that allow for academic transfer or career opportunities. Academic transfer programs allow students to complete the first two years of a four year education, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution in order to continue their education and complete a bachelor's degree.
