Phlebotomy Training
The phlebotomy program at Nash Community College gives students instruction and experience, through a variety of intrusive procedures, to draw blood samples from patients under the care and supervision of physicians or health care professionals. Nash Community College, located in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, was founded in 1967 and is a public two year comprehensive institution. The school is one of 58 that comprise the North Carolina Community College System, which is the third largest such system in the United States. Academics
As a comprehensive community college, NCC offers 99 programs that allow for academic transfer or career opportunities. Academic transfer programs allow students to complete the first two years of a four year education, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution in order to continue their education and complete a bachelor's degree. Career training programs offer education and training in high demand fields or industries for students who intend to pursue long term employment opportunities upon completion.
