Nashua Community College, located in Nashua, New Hampshire, was founded in 1970 to provide residents of the greater Nashua area access to post-secondary educational opportunities. The school has over the years expanded its offerings, facilities and services to meet the needs of the community and provide a top quality education for its students, both current and future. The school enrolls over 2000 students annually,  and is dedicated to their academic and professional growth.

Academics
As a comprehensive institution, Nashua Community College offers programs that allow students to transfer to a four year institution after completing the first two years, or to obtain career training through the various programs aimed at workforce development. Academic transfer is facilitated by agreements in place that guarantee admission to a public New Hampshire institution if certain requirements are met. Career training programs provide a mix of classroom and practical education that prepare individuals for entry into the workforce.

Nashua Community College is an open enrollment institution that allows any individual interested in attending to enroll by completing the application for admission and the payment of fees. Students should also supply transcripts and, if available, standardized test scores. Students should also participate in orientation and meet with a counselor. Financial aid must be applied for in advance of the start of the first semester, and must be reapplied for every year.
