North Central Texas College is located in Gainesville, Texas and serves residents of Cooke, Denton, and Montague Counties. NCTC is a two year college that provides students with many opportunities in their pursuit of higher learning. North Central Texas College offers associate degrees and several academic courses for certification. They also provide areas of study for those wishing to complete their studies through continuing education, and are also well known in the area for their extensive athletics program.
NCTC has several activities for students to participate in, along with many student clubs and organizations. This includes an honors program, Greek life, game clubs and political clubs. North Central Texas College is small and provides much better opportunities for student and teacher interaction.
NCTC provides its students with helpful resources to better their educational experience. This includes a counseling and testing center at NCTC’s Gainesville campus, and General Education Development for those wishing to complete their high school education. Their Transfer 101 program helps students and their parents make the transition to a 4-year university go smoothly.
