Originally known as trade schools, the system evolved into higher education training for specific fields as demand grew for the type of technical education offered by the system. Admissions
Northshore Technical Community College allows any student who meets the minimum standards for admission to enroll through the submission of an application for admission. The ease of admission is due to the school's role as an open enrollment institution. Interested and applying students should provide all relevant academic information, including transcripts and test scores, as well as alternate degrees such as a GED along with their application.
