Nursing Program
The nursing program at Ohlone College prepares students for careers in hospitals, convalescent centers, clinics, home care, and physician's offices. The program focuses on knowledge, techniques and procedures for promoting health, providing care for the sick, disabled, infirmed, or other individuals or groups. Ohlone College (Oxy)

Ohlone College is located in Fremont and Newark California. It is a multi-campus college that is situated in the San Francisco Bay. There are 18,000 students on the main campus in Fremont and there is a newly built campus in the City of Newark. Ohlone College offers many great programs and the ability to transfer to a four-year university. The institute got its name from the native people in the Mission area. Description
Demonstrate and teach patient care in classroom and clinical units to nursing students. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.

Description
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
