Oklahoma City Community College, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a public two year institution which began development after the voter of Oklahoma City recognized the need for a junior college in the area. By 1972 the school was officially opened, after groundbreaking and construction began for the campus. At the time the school was known as South Oklahoma City Junior College and had enrollment of a little over a thousand students. In 1983 the school changed its name to the current to better reflect its role as a college and its service to the community. Academics

Oklahoma City Community College provides a large number of programs for students and the community.
