Otero Junior College, located in La Junta, Colorado, was founded in 1941 on the southern edge of the city. Otero Junior College provides students with academic transfer and career training opportunities. Individuals pursuing academic transfer will complete the first two years of their four year education at OJC, followed by applying for transfer to a four year institution to complete the final two years and earn a bachelor's degree.
