Engineering Program

The engineering program at Parkland College prepares students for careers in biomedical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, geological and mining engineering and sciences, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and more. In the northwest corner of Champaign, Illinois, you will find Parkland College, a two-year community college with an approximate enrollment of 18,000 students. Its stated mission is “to engage the community in learning,” a watchword that is more than just talk. The school’s Center for Academic Success (CAS) was conceived specifically to foster student success, offering instruction in study skills, math, pre-college level studies, writing, and more.
