Pikes Peak Community College opened as El Paso Community College in 1968. Now in its forty-third year of operation, PPCC is a two-year college offering associate's degrees and various certifications in Career and Technical fields. With more than 150 programs of study, PPCC has a proud tradition of helping people get a fresh start - a start toward completion of a degree, a start towards a better job, a start towards a better and more enriching life. Statistics has proven that PPCC students who transfer to local four-year colleges do better than students who start at the four-year college. Small classes taught by professors offer an unparalleled experience for undergraduate students.

PPCC has a nationally-accredited Child Development Center located at two campuses; Centennial Campus has a gym and fitness center, and a fitness center is being planned at Rampart Range Campus. A new campus was recently opened in Falcon to serve Eastern El Paso County and communities on the Eastern Plains. An exciting Natural Resouce Technology program is housed at the Falcon Campus.
Transfer Programs
Students can complete the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree at Pikes Peak Community College and then transfer to a four-year public institution as a junior by adhering to the Colorado Community College System’s 60+60 Bachelor’s Degree Transfer Program. Additionally, Pikes Peak Community College has transfer agreements with a variety of private four-year institutions. Students should consult with their faculty advisors during their first semester or as early as possible for detailed information about transfer.
