Interior Design Program
The interior design program at Raritan Valley Community College prepares students for careers in interior design, furniture and textile design, project management, and lighting design. The program focuses on applying artistic principles and techniques to professional planning, designing, equipping, and furnishing residential and commercial interior spaces. Program courses include: computer applications drafting and graphing techniques, principles of interior lighting, color coordination, furniture and furnishings, textiles and finishings, design history, period styles, basic structural design, and building codes and inspection regulations. Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is located in Branchburg, New Jersey.
