Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) has a proud past since 1967 and steadily is building from the past and improving towards the future to meet the needs of tomorrow. The campus is currently situated in Ahoskie, North Carolina, on a 41-acre land and has seven buildings which house various instructional and administrative functions.
The college currently has about 20 curricular programs in which you can get degrees, diplomas or certificates for short term skills. Various occupational trainings are also offered in Building Construction, Plumbing and other construction related technologies. The degree programs include Nursing, Computer Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Systems, Web technology and Radiology among many others.
The college has taken various initiatives to provide transfer opportunities for you to pursue higher-level degrees. They have established a formal transfer agreement with the University of North Carolina System as well as with other private colleges. They have also started the Distance learning programs to provide you with opportunities to take up courses from anywhere if you have an internet connection and a computer. The Continuing Education and Workforce development Division has placed a great focus on basic or occupational related classes to meet the business needs of today.
R-CCC also has a Small Business Center which works on a one to one basis with you and a small business to start or enhance a business enterprise.
