Rockland Community College

As the only public higher education institution in Rockland County, RCC has served as the main educational resource in the area since 1959. Throughout the years, this college adhered to its mission to provide quality higher education and lifelong learning to the community.
RCC focus on academic excellence and at the same time values sports and athletics. The campus located at 145 College Road, Suffern, New York 10901 harbors a 90,000 square foot indoor field house and outdoor sports facilities providing a competitive athletic atmosphere for the students.
At present, RCC offers 47 programs including 39 Associate degrees and 8 one-year Certificate programs under three academic departments and disciplines: Humanities, Social and Behavioral Science; Business and Information Technology; and STEM and Health Professions.
With the latest online teaching and learning technologies, RCC provides an e-learning system for hybrid and online courses. Classes at nights and weekends are also available for selected programs including A.S. Business Administration, A.A. Liberal Arts & Science, A.A.S. Paralegal and Paralegal Certificate.
RCC is a home to the nationally acclaimed Sam Draper Mentored/Talented Student (M/TS) Honors Program that prepares students to transfer to leading universities such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania and Smith. Transfer to other four-year colleges is also facilitated through established transfer agreements.
As part of student services, Academic Support Center, Campus Fun and Learn Center, Academic Writing Center and Student Development Center are made available for the students. There are also clubs and organizations on campus that the students can participate in to enrich their social and academic experience.
