Sauk Valley Community College, located in Dixon, Illinois, was founded in 1965. The school is an open enrollment two year institution providing transfer opportunities and career education. Sauk Valley Community College offers students career and transfer opportunities through a variety of programs designed to assist in meeting student goals. Career programs provide students with the training and knowledge necessary to enter the workforce as professionals. Graduates of these programs will earn a certificate or associate degree, demonstrating one's qualifications and allowing one to obtain an entry level position immediately after completion of the program.
