Agriculture Degree
The agriculture program at South Central College prepares students to enter the farming, ranching, and agricultural business by combining research and hand-on training. Utilizing a combination of tools and knowledge, the program is designed to enhance and sustain human life by cultivating animals, plants, and other forms of food for basic consumption or for the creation of biofuels and drugs. Program courses include: basic animal care and husbandry, soil science and conservation, and plant care and cultivation. South Central College (SCC) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and has two main campuses, Faribault, MN, and North Mankato, MN, in addition to an online campus located at online.southcentral.edu.
SCC offers more than 50 Liberal Arts and Science majors in the following subjects:

SCC’s Liberal Arts and Science programs allow for credits to be easily transferred to 4-year colleges or universities and can be completed in two years for full-time students. Certificate programs or those with a diploma may be completed in a shorter time period.

Description
