Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf (SWCID)

Located in Big Spring Texas, Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf (SWCID) is a public institution that is part of a self-contained town. It is one of the campuses located in the Howard Junior College network, with other campuses of the school found in San Angelo, Lamesa, and Big Spring as well.

The school, which is located at 3200 Ave C in Big Spring, offers ten degrees under the category of liberal arts, 10 degrees under the classification of office administration, 3 types of degrees in the production trades, and one degree program in computer science and engineering.
