Tallahassee Community College, located in Tallahassee, Florida, was founded 1966 by the Florida Legislature. The school is part of the Florida College System, which is comprised of 28 schools that serve as two or four year educational institutions. Located in the state's capital, the school is geographically close to Florida State University and Florida A&M University. The school serves three counties, Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsen. Opportunities are also available for students to receive four year degrees from Flagler College, Barry University, Embry Riddle, or Saint Leo University while taking classes at Tallahassee Community College. Academics
As a community College, TCC offers a large number of programs and courses reflecting the needs of the community, allowing students to pursue an academic or career path that best suits their needs. These programs will either result in an associate's degree or certificate, based on the program's length and course offerings. Academic transfer programs will have students taking courses and fulfilling general education requirements related to their desired major, fulfilling the freshman and sophomore years of a four year education. Admissions and Financial Aid
Tallahassee Community College is an open enrollment institution which accepts all students that meet the minimum requirements for admission. Students should apply online, submitting all pertinent information, as well as providing transcripts and standardized test scores.
