SUNY Ulster serves as one of the branch campuses of the State University of New York (SUNY). This campus is situated in the Hudson Valley, a rural area proximal to the cities of Kingston, Woodstock and New Paltz.

As a comprehensive two-year institution, SUNY Ulster offers multitude of programs designed cultivate the knowledge and competence of the students as preparation for a professional career or higher education. SUNY Ulster is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
