The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville offers an affordable college experience. The school is committed to providing individuals with the skills they need to thrive in today’s workplace. It is home to a thriving campus life which will make sure you are engaged in and out of the classroom. Campus organizations help students grow and hone their leadership capabilities. The Renaissance Club promotes the arts on campus as well as the choral singers.
UACCB offers access to technical education and transfer programs that are perfect for students who live in Arkansas. The college supports the community by offering developmental education, continuing education, and industry training. Many students take classes for fun as well as students working on their degree.
Tuition is $50 per credit for district residents and $60 per credit for non-district residents. UACCB is home to five academic divisions: Adult Education, Arts and Humanities, Business, Technology, & Public Service, Math and Science, Nursing and Allied Health, and Community & Technical Education.
The University of Arkansas Community College staff will work with veterans to make sure their transition from military life to the classroom goes well. Learning assistance is offered at no extra charge. Individuals who have been out of the classroom for a while may benefit from the study skills taught through structured learning assistance. Students can receive up to 45 hours of help each semester at no additional charge.
