About
University of Arkansas Community College - Hope, located in Hope, Arkansas, was founded in 1965 and was originally known as Red River Vocational-Technical School. The school grew in size and facilities, renaming itself Red River Technical College in 1991 to better reflect its development, programs, and services.

By 1996 the school was added into the University of Arkansas System as part of its mission to consolidate publicly funded institutions, renaming the school by giving it its current name. Academics
University of Arkansas Community College - Hope offers students a variety of programs resulting in a certificate or degree, and allowing students to choose the academic or technical tract that best suits their future plans and goals. Academic programs facilitate transfer to a four year university by allowing the accumulation of credits equivalent to the first two years of a bachelors degree.
