Renowned for its outstanding graduate programs in scientific, engineering, management and health-related fields, University of New Mexico Los Alamos is one of the branch campuses of the state’s leading university, UNM. Located at 4000 University Drive Los Alamos, New Mexico 87544, this campus is 77, 689 square feet wide consists of 8 buildings.

UNM-LA is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. This institution offers Certificate and Associate degree programs abreast with the current market needs. Such programs serve as training for a professional career and foundation for convenient transfer to four-year institutions.

Diverse areas of study and several courses are available under the different departments of UNM-LA including Applied Businesses, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Fine Arts, General Studies, Information Technology, Mathematics and Science & Engineering.

Each class has an average size of only 10 students allowing instructors to provide quality hands-on learning for students utilizing traditional teaching methods and integrated technologies such as televised programming via satellite, ITFS, video conferencing or the Internet.
