Western Nevada College is also known as WNC, a community college that serves more than 5,000 students in a year. It offers 2 year, 4 years and PG courses for the community living in Northwest Nevada. The college has its main branch in Carson City, Nevada. Branches are located at Fallon and Mindens.

The college offers various associate degrees, certificate programs and many career building programs. Courses offered at WNC include ones on information technology, law, criminal justice, musical theatre amongst many others.
