Agriculture Degree

The agriculture program at Woodland Community College prepares students to enter the farming, ranching, and agricultural business by combining research and hand-on training. Utilizing a combination of tools and knowledge, the program is designed to enhance and sustain human life by cultivating animals, plants, and other forms of food for basic consumption or for the creation of biofuels and drugs. Woodland Community College, located in Woodland California at 2300 E. Gibson, offers students a wide variety of courses in four major areas, or career and technical education, fine arts and humanities, math and science, and the social sciences. Specializations under the career and technical education category include:

Soil and Plant Scientists

Description

Teach courses in the agricultural sciences.
