Yuba College

Situated due north of the capital of Sacramento, Yuba College in Marysville California provides a nice array of study programs in the departments of math and science, business, technology, social sciences, physical education, fine arts, and language arts. Both certificates and associate’s degrees are offered at the school, with the allowance made for transfer to a four-year college.
While it doesn’t offer athletic programs, the college does provide students with flexibility when it comes to taking courses. Students can take weekend classes, online courses and sessions on campus that last up to three weeks.
The Upward Bound program at the school is designed to aid students from disadvantaged backgrounds achieve their academic and career goals. Students who come from low-income households can hone their math and science skills through the MESA program at the college.
The school, which is located in a small-town setting, was founded in 1927. In-state tuition for students is much lower than the tuition is for students attending from out of state.
