The NorthShore University HealthSystem School of Nurse Anesthesia is located in Evanston in Illinois.  It was founded in 1925 by Mae Cameron but the school was still part of Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center in Chicago. It was only in 2001 when the school transferred to Evanston in Illinois. The school is set near the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. Students who study in NorthShore University find the atmosphere of the school relaxing thus making it conducive for studying.

The NorthShore University is a private non-profit school that specializes in training professional registered nurses for the advance practice of nurse anesthesia. However, the school still offers other healthcare-related programs to diversify the kinds of graduates that it produces. Currently, the school received accreditation by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Moreover, the school products excellent graduates who have worked in different settings like ambulatory care, hospices, physician offices and public health services. In fact, since 2000, the school has achieved 100% employment rate among its graduates.

Since last academic year (2012 – 2013), the NorthShore University has a tuition fee rate of $630 per three credit hours. However, the fee does not include clinical practicum, evaluation exams and the registration fee. On the other hand, students can also apply for financial aids such as the Federal Stafford Loan Program and Alumni Scholarships.
