Ultrasound Technician Program

In response to the changing needs in the healthcare industry, the American Medical Sciences Center offers highly competitive training on selected health courses. The medical programs of AMSC include Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vocational Nursing and Medical Assistant. Utilizing the different methods of instruction, Vocational Nursing is designed to train students in the art and science of nursing including the functions and responsibilities focused on providing care for individuals. After finishing this course, students are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN, a nursing licensure exam and will have the opportunity to work in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare institutions. 

Consists of eight modules with an externship, Medical Assistant program involves administrative and clinical tasks training in preparation for working in offices of doctors and other health professionals, and health care facilities.
