Arnot Ogden Medical Center - Medical Education offers full range of certification programs in the healthcare field. These includes the Residency Programs, Emergency Medical Services Training and programs under the Dr. Earl D. Smith School of Radiology and Arnot Ogden School of Nursing.

The School of Nursing is situated in the campus of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at Elmira, New York. This school offers a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for a career as a professional nurse. Classes are held at the Teaching Center of L.D. Clute Education Building comprised of classrooms, nursing laboratory, lecture hall and conference room, computer laboratory and offices. Students are educated on theoretical instructions and are given the opportunity to experience hands-on training. They are equipped with the essential skills to perform holistic and competent nursing care.

Arnot Ogden School of Nursing is registered by the New York State Department of Education and has been awarded an accreditation status by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This school is a partner of the Elmira College in Elmira, New York. Some of the courses in physical, biological, social sciences and humanities are taught in this school. Arnot Ogden nursing students can also use the facilities of the Elmira College.

Students who are accepted in school automatically become a member of the Student Association, an organization responsible for the communicating the concerns of the students to the faculty and school. They are also encouraged to participate in the National Nurses' Association to be able to attend meetings and conventions. There are also several social and cultural activities available for the students.
