Situated in Ford City, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, Lenape Tech School offers career education and training for residents in Apollo-Ridge, Armstrong, Freeport, and Leechburg districts. It participates in the statewide SOAR initiative (Students Occupationally and Academically Ready) and aims to develop diverse and high-performing students for college or careers. Select from the adult education, Practical Nursing Program, two full-time 1-year programs and two part-time 2-year programs offered by this comprehensive technical school.

If you decide to pursue a nursing profession, Lenape Tech School can give you first-hand experience in preparation for the rewards and challenges of an exciting career as a practical nurse.

It has 2 programs of study offered. There is a Full time, 12-month, Monday-Friday program for regular students and a Part time, 24-month, Evening/Weekend program for working and busy individuals.

This is open to all who are 17 years old or older with a high school graduate or GED certificate, in good health, has good moral character, has sincere interest in learning and with the other necessary qualifications required by the school.

In Lenape Tech, you will be trained to combine compassion and scientific knowledge in making decisions for the patients’ benefit. You r service is needed in hospitals, schools, physician offices, home health agencies, long-term care and outpatient facilities.
