About
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science, located in Boston, Massachusetts, was founded in 1823, and is a private institution. The school was founded by fourteen pharmacists and holds the distinction of being the oldest higher education institution in the city, and the second oldest school of pharmacy in the United States. T
MCPHS received degree granting ability in allied health through a charter change in 1979. Since then the school has added two campuses, located in Worcester, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire, as well as the addition of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists which operates the school's dental hygiene program.
Academics

Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners. Monitor patient safety and comfort, and view images of area being scanned to ensure quality of pictures. May administer gadolinium contrast dosage intravenously. May interview patient, explain MRI procedures, and position patient on examining table.
