Medical Training College began in 1992 as Massage Academy of the South in an effort to meet the growing demands for massage therapist in the state of Louisiana. When it was acquired by the Medical Training College Inc., it was named MTC.

This school is accredited by the Louisiana State Board of Regents and the Commission on the Council of Occupational Education, and approved by the National Health Career Association. It is also affiliated with the American Massage Therapy Association and Louisiana Career College Association.

MTC now offers variety of medical courses aimed at cultivating the students to become successful healthcare professionals. Its campus is located at 10525 Plaza Americana Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70816.

With focus on academic excellence professionalism, competence and accountability, MTC provides quality educational opportunities in a relatively short period of time. Its programs include Dental Assistant, Massage Therapist, Medical Assistant and Medical Office Specialist.
