Medical Assistant Program
The medical assistant program at New York Medical Career Training Center prepares students for careers as a medical assistant, clinical medical assistant, specialized medical assistant, medical receptionist, front office administration, clinical supervisor, medical office manager, and health services manager. The program focuses on providing medical office administrative services and performing clinical duties. Program courses include: basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, medical law and ethics, patient psychology and communications, medical office procedures, and clinical diagnostics, examination, testing and treatment procedures. New York Medical Career Training Center (EDP School)
1601 Voorhies Ave 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY
With two locations in New York, New York Medical Career Training center is located in Flushing (Queens) and in Manhattan. The training center does not offer on-campus living at either of its locations. The Medical Assistant program (RMA) consists of 600 hours of class work and 300 hours of on-the-job training.
