Ultrasound Technician Program

The ultrasound technician program at New York Medical Career Training Center helps students gain knowledge in gathering sonographic data, using medical ultrasound techniques. Students also learn to diagnose patient conditions through sonographic data processing while operating sonography equipment. Students who graduate the ultrasound technician program may work in hospitals or doctors' offices, performing sonograms for patients under physician supervision. The program helps students obtain, review, and integrate patient histories and data, patient instruction and care, and anatomic, physiologic, and pathologic data recording. New York Medical Career Training Center (EDP School)

1601 Voorhies Ave 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY

With two locations in New York, New York Medical Career Training center is located in Flushing (Queens) and in Manhattan. The training center does not offer on-campus living at either of its locations. The Medical Assistant program (RMA) consists of 600 hours of class work and 300 hours of on-the-job training.
