Stone Academy – Hamden (SCSU)

Stone Academy, originally founded as Yale Business College in 1864 as a technical business school, was purchased by Nathan B. Stone in 1907 and now seeks to provide students with an academic environment that helps them attain the skills necessary for outstanding contributions to the business and health fields.
Stone Academy serves three separate locations in Connecticut: Greater New Haven, Waterbury, and East Hartford. Stone Academy’s East Hartford location is the newest campus, built in 2005. Approximately 300 students attend Stone Academy. Stone Academy offers students guidance and counseling throughout their academic career, to help support and propel students forward successfully.
Accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, Stone Academy offers both full-time and part-time classes for students, as well as daytime and evening classes, allowing students to remain active working adults. Stone Academy offers classes in the following programs:

The admission process starts with a personal interview by an Admissions Representative. High school transcripts, applicable test scores, and other information is requested during the interview process, along with any tuition fees.
