Virginia Beach City Public School opened in 1972 as Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center. It mainly focuses on providing technical skills training to high school students who want to be competitive in different industries. Today, the practical nursing program is open to both adults and high school seniors.
Students complete the program by attending classroom instructions as well as through the internship program offered by the school.
