Berea College

Berea College, located in Berea, Kentucky, was founded in 1855 by abolitionists and radical reformers. The school continues its purpose of promoting the cause of Christ by providing a faith based liberal arts education to its students. Berea College is four year private institution, providing bachelor degrees to its graduates. The school is non-sectarian and progressive in its Christian beliefs.  The school's primary focus is the betterment of the Appalachian region, primarily through education, but also through other programs and events.
