Concordia University – Portland, located in Portland, Oregon, was founded in 1905 to assist and meet the needs of members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  The school transformed into a university over the years, offering a variety of programs and areas of study to assist in a student's personal development.

The school enrolls approximately 2000 students annually, primarily from the Pacific Northwest.  Concordia University is a Christian university dedicated to the preparation of leaders and the transformation of society, and as such employs a dedicated staff and faculty to realize those goals.
