History
Lipscomb University is a 4 year institution located in Nashville, TN. Founded by David Lipscomb and James A. Harding in 1891, the school was founded as a Bible college. Over the next 50 years the school grew, becoming a junior college, and in 1948 a university. Today Lipscomb University offers a liberal arts education along with spiritual guidance. Students of Lipscomb University are prepared spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically for life and eternity.

Lipscomb University offers undergraduate and graduate programs for a large number of majors.
