Exercise Physiology Degree
The exercise physiology program at Montreat College prepares students for careers as an exercise/fitness specialist, group fitness instructor, personal trainer, or strength and conditioning coach. History
Montreat College was founded in 1916 in Montreat, North Carolina. The school is a Christian college in the Presbyterian tradition, and stresses academic and religious importance. The school was originally formed as a retreat so that Christians has a place to worship freely, though that changes when it was proposed that the grounds and facilities should be used as a school during the academic year. Currently the school operates four campuses, the main campus in Montreat, a secondary campus in Black Mountain and adult studies campuses in Asheville and Charlotte.
