About
Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a private four year institution founded in 1963 as a result of a mandate received by evangelist Oral Roberts from God to establish an educational institution. The school began operations in 1963 and received its accreditation in 1971 from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.
