Roberts Wesleyan College

Roberts Wesleyan College, located in Rochester, New York, was founded in 1866. The school was first known as the Chili Seminary when it was founded by B.T. Roberts, but changed its name in 1885 to Chesbrough Seminary after a financial gift from A.M. Chesbrough.
In 1945 the school again changed its name, this time to Roberts Junior College in honor of its founder and then again four years later to Roberts Wesleyan College, in order to pay homage to John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. The school added the Northeastern Seminary in 1998, which serves as a graduate school in theology.
Academics
Roberts Wesleyan College offers over fifty programs of study, including pre-professional studies and graduate level work.
