Chemistry Degree

Rust College

Rust College, located in Holly Springs, Mississippi, is the oldest of the eleven historically black colleges in the United States. Rust College was founded in 1866, and is the second institution of higher learning in the state of Mississippi. Rust College is a private liberal arts college, providing quality education a variety of fields. The school is affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church and was founded on a grant by the Freedman's Aid Society of the church.

Academics

Rust College provides study in 16 areas, available under five divisions: Business, Education, Humanities, Science & Mathematics, and Social Science. The school offers both majors and minors, and encourages students through pre-professional programs designed to prepare students for a graduate education. The school grants either an associate or bachelor degrees upon completion of a given program.

Students interested in enrolling at Rust College must have a reasonable GPA, ACT score, and have graduated from a high school accredited by a state or regional agency. Applying students must provide transcripts, letters of recommendation, and an immunization shot record.
