The journalism program at Stillman College prepares students for careers as a print journalist, local reporter, news editor, public relations assistant, advertising coordinate, news manager, or communication consultant. Stillman College (Springhill)

Stillman College is a nonprofit private historically black institution located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Many historically black colleges and universities (also known as HBCUs) were founded after the civil war to provide newly freed African Americans with educational opportunities. The Presbyterian Church affiliation at the school is an important part of the history, education and vision that defines the school. Stillman College has an annual student enrollment of approximately 1,100.
