Stillman College (Springhill)

Stillman College is a nonprofit private historically black institution located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Many historically black colleges and universities (also known as HBCUs) were founded after the civil war to provide newly freed African Americans with educational opportunities. The Presbyterian Church affiliation at the school is an important part of the history, education and vision that defines the school.
